Dr. Matthew Sorkin earned his dental degree from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine after obtaining his bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at Stonybrook. He completed his general practice residency at Hackensack University Medical Center and has been awarded a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry. He holds memberships to several professional organizations, including:
- American Dental Association
- New Jersey Dental Association
- Middlesex County Dental Society
Dr. Sorkin continues to obtain postgraduate education with recent courses in implant surgery, and implant restoration. This allows him to treat his patients with maximum comfort and provide complete restoration of missing teeth.
Dr. Sorkin and his wife, Gail, have two sons. He volunteers his time aiding local Boy Scouts in receiving their dentistry merit badges and speaking at local schools about careers in dentistry. He enjoys camping, hiking, swimming, biking, and skydiving.
