The Perfect Solution for multiple missing teeth

A denture is a removable replacement for missing teeth and adjacent tissues. It is made of acrylic resin, sometimes in combination with various metals. There are two types of dentures: complete and partial. Complete dentures replace all the teeth, while a partial denture fills in the spaces created by missing teeth and prevents other teeth from changing position.

What type of dentures should I get?

Candidates for complete dentures have lost most or all of their teeth. A partial denture is suitable for those who have some natural teeth remaining. Regardless of which option is best for you, you will enjoy the following benefits:

  • Improved chewing ability
  • An easier ability to speak
  • Support for facial muscles
  • Enhanced facial appearance and smile

Never Miss a Smile

Dr. Sorkin can stage your dental treatment so you never have to go without front teeth. At the time of your first appointment, preliminary impressions are taken, so when your front teeth are removed at a subsequent appointment, a transitional denture is inserted. This appliance gives you the appearance of front teeth and is worn until the extraction site heals. During this stage, the final denture is constructed. Once you have healed and your final restorations have been created, you will return to our office for placement and proper fitting. You’ll be unstoppable with your new and improved smile.
