An Alternative tooth replacement option

A dental bridge is a device used to replace missing teeth. Bridges are either non-removable (fixed) or they can be removable.

Non-removable bridges are applied by either placing crowns on the abutment teeth or by bonding the artificial teeth directly to the abutment teeth. As the name implies, fixed bridges are permanently affixed to your mouth and can only be removed by a dental health professional.

The Modern Dental Bridge

While removable bridges used to be attached to the teeth with metal clasps, Dr. Sorkin uses a more modern aesthetic design which uses no metal. The old fashioned metal clips are replaced with high-strength plastic that is lightweight, flexible, and blends beautifully with your natural teeth and smile.

If you’re missing one or more teeth, you may be aware of their importance to your appearance and dental health. Your teeth work together for many daily functions from eating to speaking. With missing teeth, it’s difficult to do these things. Missing teeth can and should be replaced to avoid further tooth loss or other dental health complications. Fixed bridges are a great way to restore your appearance, health, and confidence in your smile.
