Meet a Valued Team Member – Diane

We are proud that our team members share our philosophy and offer you the very best in care and service. We want to take an opportunity to introduce you to one of our dental hygienists, Diane.
Diane has had the pleasure of working with Dr. Sorkin since 1983! She was not originally a hygienist, but an assistant and realized that it seemed to be the logical step to train for a new position. Diane loves being a hygienist for many reasons. One reason is because she loves working with Dr. Sorkin and the wonderful team in the practice. She also loves the environment and helping the patients. Diane feels it’s very rewarding to see patients’ oral health improve after visiting the office.
Diane wants patients to know that the best thing they can do for their oral health is to be consistent with oral care at home. It’s better to do a little bit every day, then be in a bind and have to do a lot at once.
Before working in the field of dentistry, Diane cooked for a living in both Colorado and New Jersey. If she ever left the dental profession you would most likely find her cooking again. When not in the dental office Diane enjoys listening to music. Fun fact about Diane is she was in a barbershop quartet with her mom and played piano in a five piece band. Diane also enjoys walking through flea-markets. Although there really isn’t the opportunity to travel at the moment, if Diane could travel anywhere in the world, she would love to visit Bora Bora.
