We don’t know about you, but we cannot believe that October has arrived already. We know many of our patients are busy with fall family events such as sports, pumpkin picking, and preparing for Halloween. Even though your schedule is busy, we want to remind you about the importance of visiting our office for routine care. In fact, now is the perfect time to schedule your visit to be sure you see us before the end of the year. Read on to learn more.
See Us Before the End of the Year
Routine dental care is one of the best ways to ensure your oral health lasts for years to come. During routine hygiene examinations, we are able to inspect your mouth for signs of decay, gum disease, and oral cancer as well. Early detection of oral health problems and immediate treatment is the best way to prevent an issue from progressing further. Unfortunately, dental issues do not heal on their own and continue to progress until eventually you experience a dental emergency or you need a tooth extraction. While an emergency can happen at any time, you have an added risk if you do not receive routine dental care. We want to do everything we can to prevent that from happening.
Visiting before the end of the year also allows you to use any remaining dental insurance benefits you may have left over. Dental insurance does not carry over from year to year. Once the new year starts, your insurance benefits also restart as well. Now is a great time to not only schedule your hygiene examinations, but to schedule any recommended treatments as well.
