Diane, our hygienist, has worked with me from the opening of my first office. She says that she looks forward to each day here because we constantly update our knowledge, equipment, and procedures — the learning and growth never stops! We work well together and benefit from the friendship and trust we have developed over the years.
Megan, who assists chairside, makes my work easier through her expert skills. Megan describes me as very caring and gentle, and she should know — she is beside the patient through all their treatments! She believes our patients feel very comfortable with us and leave feeling good, many saying they believe they had a superior experience to that at another office.
Our office manager, Gail, explains that at our practice, once we’ve met you, we never forget you. Instead of rushing you through your treatments, we take time to get to know you and understand what you want while we determine what you need for great oral health. In sharp contrast, “corporate” dental offices with multiple dentists and a cold front office staff operate “like a machine.” Patients say they can feel the difference between their former dental office and ours from the moment they walk through our front door.
Charlene, who is also a chairside assistant, has been with us since 1994 and is another highly valued member of the team. She is very good at speaking with patients and making a connection. Charlene thinks working with Dr. Sorkin is a perfect fit because he keeps up to date with the latest dental technology and she is always learning new things. Charlene has recommended us to members of her own family, and she says, “you don’t get any closer than that!”
Nicole is a top-notch front desk business assistant who excels in explaining insurance and treatment plans. She is also a terrific chairside assistant who can jump in at any time to assist in the back office.
