It’s Time To Reschedule That Appointment You Missed
Are you eagerly looking forward to the day when life feels completely normal? While things are slowly improving in New Jersey, we still have a ways to go. We can still celebrate the positive changes that we have seen over the past few months, like being able to eat at our favorite restaurants again, even though they are not yet operating at full capacity. Many schools are back to being in person, and some have even returned to full day instruction. Some offices have reopened, and family sports schedules have resumed. We know that many of our patients have missed their routine hygiene examinations or cancelled appointments and have yet to reschedule. We know that you are busy, but we encourage you to put your oral health first. We do not want to see the consequences of postponing or avoiding hygiene examinations. Read on to find out more.
Why Visit Our Office?
Even if you have the best home hygiene routine and brush, floss, and use mouthwash regularly, we highly recommend that you continue to visit our office every six months. We use those appointments to remove lingering bacteria that can cause decay and cavities. We also check for more serious conditions such as oral cancer and gum disease. These conditions are impossible to diagnose on your own and can become extremely serious if not treated immediately.
Don’t Postpone Appointments
If we have previously suggested a treatment or procedure we encourage you to schedule an appointment as soon as possible. Long delayed needed treatment can cause added discomfort, not to mention expensive dental bills in the future when additional treatments are needed. If you are putting off an examination or needed treatment due to fear, please be honest with us. We offer sedation dentistry to help our patients get the dental care they need while keeping them relaxed and comfortable.
If you have not visited our office in the past 6 months for a hygiene examination, we encourage you to call today and schedule your next appointment in our office located in Spotswood, NJ. We want you to live your healthiest life possible, and one of the best ways to do that is through a healthy mouth. We look forward to seeing you this summer!
