We have exciting news! We are now seeing children ages three and up in our office for their oral health needs. We know that schedules are busy, especially when children are involved, and it can be difficult to schedule appointments for your family at various medical offices. We are thrilled we can take away some of that burden and welcome your entire family to our office for dental care. Children Welcome!
We could not be more excited to welcome children ages three and older to our office for their dental health needs. They will be seeing the newest dentist on our team, Dr. Leizer. It is important for children to visit the dentist every six months for a routine hygiene examination and cleaning. During this time, we examine the teeth for signs of decay and make sure the baby teeth and newly emerging adult teeth have room to fit in the mouth. We know that it can be challenging for children to visit the dentist. We want to share some helpful tips to ensure they have a positive experience:
Schedule Visit Accordingly
We would recommend scheduling the visit for your child at a time that works with their schedule and personality. We would suggest avoiding mealtimes, nap times, and after a long day at school or daycare.
Remain Positive
Many adults suffer from some form of anxiety about the dentist. If this is you, we recommend keeping your emotions to yourself and remaining positive about visiting our office. We want them to know and understand that our office is a safe space.
